Fall 2023

Social Season

To bring the best wine to your gatherings, we partnered with the most passionate winemakers across the globe and tasted (literally) thousands of wines to bring our club members the most delicious, quality wines at a price exclusive to Wine Cult Members.

Our fall release includes a lineup of imported wines you’ll love—each perfectly suited for the social season ahead (think Thanksgiving table staples and wine that you’ll be proud to pop open at a party). If that’s not enough, we tossed in a bunch of other perks you can sip and save on for good measure, too.

Every Wine Has a Story to Tell

2022 Alpina Jacquere & Chardonnay

Bring a chilled bottle to your next tailgate

Maybe you go for the sports. Maybe you show up for the snacks. It’s easy to make the tailgate pregame feel like the main event with a little prep, so pack this bottle. Straight from the lower slopes of Mont Granier, its grapes were picked at the ideal balance between fresh and full flavor—think maximum crunch, saline minerality, and electrifying acidity (thanks to 80% Jacquere in the blend) with the familiar creamy and slightly nutty finish of Chardonnay. Want more dirt on this wine? Its vines reach deep into colluvial, calcareous soils—the kind that cracks from above and tumbles to slopes below—regulating vine growth and giving great drainage vibes.

TASTING NOTES

Wild Flowers, Bosc Pear, White Peach, Dried Honey, and Wet Stone

PAIRED PARTY BITE

Skewered Swiss cheese fondue or raclette & boiled potatoes with grilled pork sausages

2023 Boya Rosé of Pinot Noir & Grenache

Bound to impress at your next progressive dinner party

This rosé is our pick for a progressive dinner party—the kind of laid-back, lowkey entertaining that involves house-hopping from course to course. Keep the fun flowing between stops with Boya, which delivers a fruit-forward, complex, and elegant Pinot Noir that’s boosted by the spice and richness of a touch of Grenache (8%, if you’re tallying). Every grape is hand-harvested from ocean-view vineyard blocks in the cool morning before being whisked off to a gravity-fed winery and with a laissez faire-like approach to winemaking—one that promises max aromatic potential and natural structure.

TASTING NOTES

Rose Petal, Raspberry, Wild Strawberry, Tangerine Rind, and White Pepper

PAIRED PARTY BITE

We’re feeling it with a watermelon, feta, and mint salad—consider the whole crowd pleased.

2022 Correa Garnacha

Major slumber party potential!

Impromptu sofa naps with friends. Long weekend nights that end with ‘why don’t you just stay over?’ Routines going off-track and losing track of days (in the best way possible). Sometimes the holidays feel like an endless sleepover. Cue this wine, which feels like a hug from an old friend and is totally fitting. We’re thinking movie marathon and a sleepover (matching pjs and truth or dare optional). The first sips unlock textural richness, plenty of berry fruit and peppery spice, and ripe, polished tannins. You’ll find plenty to consider a throwback to traditional winemaking, but this winery is also a pioneer in avant-garde techniques, too. Expect lift and freshness thanks to stainless steel fermentation, and a soft-around-the-edges feel from a little microoxygenation in concrete.

TASTING NOTES

Violet, Dark Cherry, Blackberry, Cinnamon, and Crushed Rock

PAIRED PARTY BITE

Popcorn seasoned with Japanese furikake ranch or Flamin’ Hot Cheetos

2022 Boire Gamay

Uncork it while you hunt for clues at a murder mystery party

It would be a crime to throw a whodunnit dinner without a good bottle—so let the supercharged fruit, elevated acidity, and subtle tannins of Boire solve at least one mystery for you. Sip while you seek out the next clue and savor this vivacious vino. Serve up a tidbit of Touraine trivia while you pass around your apps—this wine hails from the Renaissance castle-studded Loire River Valley, smack at the crossroads of oceanic and continental influences.

TASTING NOTES

Hibiscus, Strawberry, Black Raspberry, Cardamom, and Potting Soil

PAIRED PARTY BITE

A great salumi spread—charcuterie’s salt and fat is always a hit.
